Golf Setup position is the only most significant and repeatedly unnoticed full swing basic in golf.
The golf setup attends to the positions for swing. Each and every great golfer is conscious about the significance of the golf setup. If it is setup properly, then there is an excellent opportunity for the golfer to hit a levelheaded shot, even if an ordinary swing is played. If the setup is not properly done, then in spite of making the greatest swing the golfer will hit a dreadful shot.
A proper and correct golf setup helps to attain three significant objectives. They are as follows:

Arrangement
Body parts like feet, knees, hips, forearms, shoulders and eyes should be in parallel to the target line. When examined from the back, a right-handed golfer will become visible intended somewhat left of the target.
Position of foot
The feet should be shoulder width for the middle irons. The short iron stance will be two inches narrower and the stance for long irons and woods should be two inches wider. In case of short irons, weight should be 60-percent on the target side foot, in case of middle irons, weight should be equal on each foot and in case of longest clubs 60% of weight should be placed on the backside foot. This balancing helps to swing the club on the correct angle on the back swing.
Posture
The knees should be somewhat bent for balance. The back knee should get inclined a little inward towards the target. The body should be bent at the hips and not in the waist. The spine should be bent towards the ball from the hips at an angle of 45º to the shaft of the club.
Hands position
vHands should be somewhat off the inside of the target side thigh. The distance between hands and body depends on the club that is hit.
The ultimate setup
The tube of the club should bend slightly toward the target with the short irons in order to place the ball at the canter of the stance. With middle irons, the tube of the club should bend only slightly toward the target as the ball is ahead of center. With long irons and woods, the hands and tube of the club should be visible in line. The arms and shoulders should form a triangle and the elbows should point to the hips. The upper body of the golfer should be stress free. He may feel worried only down the inside of the back leg.
It should always be remembered that swing is developed from the setup. If the center of attention lies on this fundamental pre-swing, golfers will certainly show improvement on their performance. A good setup does not give assurance to achievement; on the other hand it develops the probabilities immeasurably.
