How It Works!
Golf Launchpad's tethered ball has been designed to reproduce the impact-physics of a free ball to perfection. Utilizing a flexible tether (which permits the ball to spin) and a precisely calibrated pivot, Golf Launchpad's ball is designed to impart the same forces to the club as a free ball. This means that you feel and hear the thwack of your irons and the ping of your woods just as you would on the fairway. We call this TruFeel and it is the subject of several patent applications. Optical sensors embedded deep under the turf track your club over the sensor grid during the critical moment of impact, measuring vast quantities of data off your club, such as angle, velocity, acceleration and path. Electric~Spin’s state-of-the-art digital signal processing technology embedded in Golf Launchpad converts the mountains of raw data into pinpoint accuracy.

Golf Launchpad Tour’s patented TruFeel technology incorporates a regulation Surlyn ball attached to a double ball-bearing mounted flexible tether to accurately reproduce the physics of free-ball impact, with complete convenience and safety.

Hockey Fans have always wondered what it would be like to play against Wayne Gretzky, the all time leading scorer for the National Hockey League. Last week, I spotlighted a gyroscopic driver that straightens your swing. This week, it is the Golf Launchpad Tour, which now works with your DVR box, so you can play right alongside pro golfers on the tele, with your own clubs. (As if that will improve your odds.) The launchpad has embedded sensors that track your club as you whack its tethered ball, measuring angle, velocity, acceleration, and path. The Golf Launchpad Tour also works with Windows, Playstation, and the Mac and will be available in the next month or so.
